Jungle Lore Birding Lodge is located in a very pretty place, 15 km from Nainital. It is really the hub for bird watchers and nature lovers. Our cottages are equipped with very comfortable beds, attached toilets and showers that give you hot and cold water. Our dining room serves fresh meals that are like home cooked and Himalayan style. We also offer bar-be-cue dinners around campfires. Picnics are arranged on regular basis.

Activities

Our guides at the lodge take you for specialised bird walks, village visits, short treks and picnics. We also arrange overnight and 2-4 nights camping and short treks between Pangot and Corbett National Park through the old trails. We give you the option of learning Indian cooking. Our library lets you relax in a quiet corner with your book. It is a great Himalayan experience.

Description

The food is served either in buffet style or is pre-plated. Should you have any preferences do let us know in advance and we will try to accommodate them. Since it is a remote place not every item may be available.
We usually serve farm fresh and home produced meals that have great flavours.You can savour our pickles and chutneys too. Fresh fruits are served in the dining room. Tea / coffee is available any time of the day. Our soups are usually vegetarian and taste lovely. Bar-be-cue can be arranged at an extra cost.

How To Reach

Delhi - Gaziabad bypass - Hapur - Gajraula - Moradabad bypass - Rampur - Bilaspur - Rudrapur - Tanda Bend (take left from here for haldwani) - Haldwani - Kathgodam - Jeolikote - Nainital (after crossing the lake reach sukhatal) - Bara Pathar - turn right towards Kilbury - Kilbury - Pangot. Upon reaching Pangot village, turn left into the market and drive 200 m, you will see a board of Jungle Lore Birding Lodge on the left side of the road.
